This isn't her first time traveling with Team Canada. Master Cecilia Lee have been on the Canadian Team since the year 2010. Her first career at international level was the 2010 Pan American Championship under -57kg. She fought for Canada and placed in the quarter finals losing in overtime by Brazil. Since then, she represented our maple leaf at 2011 Pan American Games Qualification in Peru, US Open, Canada Open, Korea Open, Dutch Open, Belgium Open and her biggest accomplishment 2013 World Championship in Puebla, Mexico. She has won numerous places throughout her career but in 2014, she decided to say good-bye to her competitions. 

Since then, she have been focusing on training our Chan Lee Taekwondo students and developing young athletes. Finally in 2016, she came back into the ring this time not as an athlete but as a coach for her Black belt athletes. 2016, Vivian Liu placed 3rd at her Cadet Junior Nationals and Marcello Fontana won Silver for Youth Black Belt division. And now this year, Lentz Amo placed 2nd for -41kg and Jacob Stevens placed 1st, who will now be representing Team Canada at 2017 Cadet Pan AMerican Championship in Costa Rica. 

Becoming coaching staff at 2017 Senior World Championship will be learning and development process for Master Cecilia. Having the background career as former national team member have given her this great opportunity. "When the opportunity knocks on your door, you should always be willing to take the chance." With humble heart and excitement, she has accepted her position and will be traveling with Team Canada this June to support and coach the Canadian National Team.

Furthermore, 2017 S. World will be held in Muju, South Korea, June 23rd - June 30th and 2017 Korea Open July 1st - 7th. There will be live stream online! We will update you all with the link!
